経理職の必需品！電卓の使い方・選び方

経理に限らずオフィスで仕事をする方は電卓を利用されることが多いと思います。その中でも特に経理職では、業務に電卓は必需品となります。きっと1日に何回も電卓に触りますよね。経理職では早く打つこと、正確に打つスキルが必要になります。経理職が長い方などは電卓のブラインドタッチできる方もいるぐらいです。基本的に電卓は仕事で使うものなので会社から支給されることもあるかと思います。しかし慣れない電卓だと打ちにくく打ち間違える可能性があります。慣れない電卓の使用で一番困ることが、業務効率が落ちることです。そのため経理職であれば使いやすいお気に入りの「マイ電卓」を持つことをおすすめします。

電卓の種類

電卓のブランドと言えば王道はCASIOとSHARPの2種類があげられます。経理職に限らず電卓を持っている方のほとんどがCASIOとSHARPどちらかを使用しているのではないでしょうか。
CASIOとSHARPの電卓に機能大きな違いはありませんが、「00」の位置が異なります。CASIOの電卓は、「1」の下に00があり、SHARPは「２」の下に00があります。「00」の位置が違うだけで電卓は想像以上に使いづらくなります。もし電卓の買い替えを検討する場合はブランドを揃えることをお勧めします。

経理職の電卓に必要な電卓機能

電卓は大きさやデザインによって機能が多少異なります。経理の仕事で使う場合、以下の機能が備わっている電卓を選んだ方が仕事をスムーズにすすめることができます。新しく買い換える場合などの参考にしてください。
・12桁表示
・MR（メモリー）機能
・GT（グランドトータル）機能
・「00」があるもの※サイズが小さい電卓の場合「00」がない場合があります
※あると尚良い機能
・液晶画面の角度が変更できる（座り方や光の加減によっては画面が見えない可能性があるため）

おすすめ電卓機能

電卓には、経理の仕事で便利な機能がいくつかあります。おすすめでの電卓機能をご紹介します。電卓機能をマスターしたらきっと仕事効率を上げることができます。

1. MR（メモリー）機能
例えば、現金実査を行い、電卓で確認をする場合です。
以下紙幣があるとします。
10,000円：5枚
5,000円：4枚
1,000円：12枚

この合計金額を調べたい場合の電卓の使い方は以下のようになります。
10,000×5 「M＋」
5,000×4 「M＋」
1,000×12 「M＋」
「Ｍ」＝ 82,000
となります。
電卓には、他にM−、M×やM÷がありますが基本的にはあまり使いません。

２. GT（グランドトータル）機能
上記１.MR(メモリー)機能とほぼ同じ機能になります。
「＝」で計算した数字をすべて足します。
計算の最後に「GT」を使います。
1.の例と同じ数字で考えると以下のように電卓を使います。
10,000×5「＝」50,000
5,000×4「＝」20,000
1,000×12「＝」12,000
「GT」 82,000
となります。

③分母と分子を逆に割り算
例えば、売掛金回転期間を求める場合です。
年間の本業売上：100,000円
年間のその他売上：50,000円
売掛金：30,000円

総売上を求めるため電卓で
100,000＋50,000＝150,000と打ちます。
÷を2回打ちます。
「÷」「÷」30,000＝0.2
30,000÷150,000の計算結果となります。
※CANON製の電卓ではできません

④AC（オールクリア）とC（クリア）
ACは名前の通りすべてクリアします。
Cは今、打っている数字をクリアします。
例えば、請求書の金額確認をする場合です。
A商品：5,000円
B商品：3,000円
C商品：1,000円
請求額：9,000円
だとします。
誤って5,000＋3,300と打ってしまった場合、「AC」を押すとすべてクリアされてしまい最初からやり直す必要があります。しかし「C」を押すと3,300のみクリアされます。改めて最初の5,000から打つ必要はなく3,000と打つことで計算ができます。
※ほかにも「→」で1桁のみクリアすることが可能です。

今回の例だと3,300が330になります。3回「→」を打つと3になりますので、この方法でも打ち直しが可能です。

※但し打ち込む数字が多い場合は、エクセルを利用することをオススメします。エクセルに数字を打ち込み、SUM関数で合計額を算出することが可能です。打ち間違えがあると電卓では最初からやり直すことになります。とても手間がかかるので自分の打った数字が確認でき、誤った部分だけ修正できるエクセルが電卓より使いやすいです。

さいごに

電卓にはひとそれぞれの好みがありおすすめ電卓の意見が分かれます。絶対にこれが良いというものはありません。自分の使いやすい電卓を使うことで仕事効率が大幅にアップします。ブランドによっても機能の使い方が若干異なる場合があるため新しいブランドを購入する場合は機能を調べてから使うことをオススメします。
